Curling Skins Questions?
Tomorrow, Thursday January 14, is Curling Skins Day on the TSN talk show Off The Record (OTR).
Once again, the four skips taking part in this weekend’s Casino Rama Skins Game will be in the hotseats for a half-hour of jabbering, laughing, frowning and finger-pointing.
Make that three skips and one third.
Glenn Howard, Randy Ferbey and Scotland’s David Murdoch will be there. But Kevin Martin‘s chair will be taken by third man John Morris, which could make things quite interesting.
Remember, ace TCN blogger Margo Weber declared that Johnny Mo is going to be a star in Vancouver. Does that star begin ascending on Thursday?
Anyway, a question about questions. Specifically: what kinds of questions would you ask any of these curling stars, if TSN happened to invite your contributions?
Not to toot our own horn too much… but if you post your question ideas in the Comment(s) field below, you just might see and hear your question pop up on Thursday’s show.
TOOT!

Now that the olympics trials are over and the 2010 olympic team is set what are all of these teams planning on doing next year? Staying together, splitting up, moving to different provinces, any anouncements of new teams or will any of the team members not be curling as competetively?

My question is how long do these World class Skips think it will be before a Curling team can make a great living playing on the Professional Curling Tour.

Who would throw last rocks if the 4 of you were to form a one-day “Dream Team”?

Martin isn’t know for his loyalty to his team. Do you worry that if you don’t perform well over the next couple of months that you’ll be looking for a new team next year?

Question for David Murdoch. What was going through your head as Kevin Martin decided to throw away his first stone at the worlds?

For John Morris, what was going through your head when Kevin decided to throw his rock through? We heard a great quote at the time but that can’t be all that you wanted to say?”

Has Michael Landsberg ever witnessed the three man lift? I’ve only seen Johnny Mo and Marty the Rock pull it off. It’s more then just a feat of strength, but will power and determination.

In the last 15 years curling has come along way: big money grand slams; becoming an official Olympic sport, the big money skins game is back- but what needs to happen to finally crack this sport wide open and convince the world that this is a great game? What do our top atheletes think is missing?

Question to John Morris… regarding the upcoming Olympics, what would you consider to be the most important thing your team can do, other than winning gold?
3 man lift? Said,

Yeah the 3 man lift is really impressive. Maybe Morris will show Landsberg how he does it.
