South Korea’s national fours curling titles were awarded after a six-day shootout at Uiseong.

Olympic rep Gim Eun-ji prevailed on the women’s side, defeating Park You-been in the final while 2026 worlds skip Kim Chang-min fell in the men’s final to Jeong Byeong-jin.

The seven-team men’s field went straight to a gold medal final after both Kim and Jeong finished 5-1 in the round robin.

It was all Jeong, the 2022 Pan Continental bronze medallist skip, in the championship match, as his Uiseong squad led 2-0 and 5-1 en route to a solid 6-2 victory.

The women’s field, which has seen much lineup change upheaval over the past few months, was a battle between eight squads.

Gim finished 6-1 with Ha Seung-yun at 5-2. Park finished at 4-3 along with two other teams, skipped by three-time mixed doubles champ Kim Ji-yoon and two-time world junior champion Kang Bo-bae.

In the semifinals, Gim overwhelmed Kim 9-5 while Park stole the extra-end to beat Ha by a 6-5 count.

The championship final saw Gim and Co. in the lead for much of the game, until a ninth-end deuce from Park left Gim trailing 7-5. However, a big three-ender coming home handed the Gyeonggi team – the 2024 world bronze medallists – the 7-5 win and their fourth Korean title in a row.

2018 Olympic silver medallist Kim Eun-jung has a new team, but missed the championship due to medical issues. Third Kim Su-hyeon returned to skip for the event and finished sixth with a 3-4 won/loss record.
