Two U.S. tour stops and an intimate setting in Red Deer
Rock League, the professional curling endeavour, has announced its full slate of locations for its second season.
Following a single-event preview last April in Toronto, the six- franchise, multi-athlete mixed-gender curling league will arrive in three communities across Canada and two in the United States, beginning in January 2027.
The first three tournaments were previously announced:
January 7-10 – Moose Jaw, SK – Temple Gardens Centre
January 28-31 – Utica, NY – NBT Bank Arena
February 4-7 – Ottawa, ON – TD Place
The final two events are:
April 8-11 – Red Deer, AB – Servus Arena
April 15-18 – Kalamazoo, MI – Wings Event Center
Three of the venues seat between 4,000 and 5,000 spectators. Ottawa can hold up to 9,000, while Red Deer will be an intimate setting with just over 1,300 fans.
Rock League action • Anil Mungal-The Curling GroupAccording to a release from The Curling Group, the new venue announcement was made “to better support our athletes’ commitments throughout the curling season and ensure a more sustainable calendar.
“As a result, the previously announced Halifax event, scheduled for January 2027, will no longer take place.”
Full-event and weekend passes will be available for general purchase for all five events beginning Friday, Sept. 25.
Weekend passes include Saturday and Sunday, while full-event passes provide access to all four days of competition (Thursday through Sunday). Single game ticket sales will be announced at a later date.
Earlier announcements revealed Canadian and U.S. television and streaming deals for both Rock League and the Grand Slam of Curling series, as well as the broadcast talent lineup.
