RAMA, Ontario – 'Twas Murdoch over Martin yet again as the Scottish skip delivered in the clutch.

In what was both a rematch of last year’s World Championship final and a preview of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, Scotland’s David Murdoch once more over Kevin Martin, extending his win streak over the Canadian Olympian to four games.
Martin led $7,500 to $7,000 heading into the eighth and final end, with $6,500 and a trip to the final at stake. Murdoch made his final shot to force the carryover, and it all came down to the draw to the button.
KMart had won the pre-tournament draw to the pin, earning him $1,000 and choice of hammer or stones (he chose stones, and stole the first skin) but this time his stone – with perfect weight – curled to just four inches plus from the pinhole, leaving Murdoch an opportunity. The Scot made no mistake, and covered the nail for the victory (The Curling News photo by Anil Mungal).
Tomorrow at 1:00pm ET it's the final, with Murdoch's men taking on the newfangled Randy Ferbey / Wayne Middaugh squad (with Huff and Puff, of course).
