Faithful blogreaders may recall a bizarre series of posts we made in during the peak of the curling season back in 2007.

Those posts were simply entitled What is this?

We started off with this posting here... and then gave some clues over the next few days.

By the time we got to clue posting No. 5, we declared that things were now "getting weird".

Anyway, to find out how this 2007 series ended, check out our What is this? posts in the blog Archives at right, during the months of February and March in 2007. And don't forget the great comments you fine folks contributed, too, at the end of some of the postings.

And with that, we are off and running with an all-new, 2010 version of What is this?

Well? What is this? Hmmm?

The only thing we will say for now is that we're on a tighter deadline to reveal the answer than we were three years ago; we'll need to have this wrapped up by the morning of February 6 – this Saturday – in order to give you all a chance to see it for yourselves.
