Five more before The Show
From The Hack completes a comprehensive 2023 Brier preview with this second of two episodes, in which five additional Brier competitors share their thoughts in advance of the opening weekend’s action in London, Ont.
First up is defending champion Brad Gushue, with a full four-man team (fingers crossed). Then host Frank Roch speaks with Brendan Bottcher third Marc Kennedy, another highly decorated curler.
Then it’s on to two lesser known competitors making their Brier debuts: Karsten Sturmay third J.D. Lind, the familiar coach of Japan’s Satsuki Fujisawa, and Jacques Gauthier, the son of TSN commentator Cathy Gauthier.
Finally, a pod favourite as Mike McEwen completes the lineup, and the new “Ontario skip” has a lot to say about his latest and most unusual Brier adventure.
