You’re looking for The Curling and The Curling News has it for you
We thought our mixed doubles viewing guide as the strongest you could find. And it was, even if we had to update it a couple of times.
Because things change in the world of Olympic broadcast coverage. They change all the time.
Here we are again with your viewing guide for Canada’s men’s and women’s traditional team (or fours) curling competition.
Camera guys get hunchy • Anil Mungal-The Curling NewsReminder: all game start times in this guide are listed in Eastern Standard Time (ET).
Reminder: this guide is for Canadian residents. Every nation has its own Olympic rights-holder (TV/streaming partner); if you’re outside Canada, seek your provider.
Reminder: every single curling game – whether Canadian teams are involved or not – can be viewed online at the CBC Gem streaming platform. It’s free for Canadian residents, all you need to do is create an account.
As of the publication date only one game will only be available on the Gem platform – that’s involving two non-Canadian teams in men’s session 2, Feb 12 at 7:55 a.m.
Virtually every other Olympic game will be on Gem plus one (or more) or CBC-TV, Sportsnet (and Sportsnet+) or TSN (and TSN+). These are all clearly indicated below.
But first, more reminders.
Avoid cameras while dancing • Anil Mungal-The Curling NewsReminder: things might change. Possibly for technical reasons. Or inclement weather on the ski hills (this usually means *more* curling, a la Nagano 1998). Or perhaps if a Canadian athlete gets kicked out of a game for violating the new sweeping rules.
Reminder: Games on TSN and TSN+ don’t mean you’ll hear Vic Rauter and Russ Howard commentating. Regardless of where you’re watching, you’ll hear either the CBC crew or one of the OBS crew (please read those linked stories).
