New home team for Neufeld

John Epping has landed with a new team – and so has B.J. Neufeld.

It’s an amalgamation of three foursomes, to be precise.

Epping, along with his most recent front-end player Ian McMillan, has joined up with Manitobans Neufeld and Ryan Wiebe for a new squad representing the Bison province.

Neufeld, cast aside from the Brier champion Matt Dunstone team less than two years ago, played this past season with skip Reid Carruthers, who recently announced his retirement.

Wiebe played third for Ontario’s Sam Mooibroek over the past two seasons, appearing in the 2025 Brier in Kelowna and losing the 2026 Ontario men’s final to Jayden King.

Epping also appeared in that Kelowna Brier with a Northern Ontario squad which included the Horgan brothers, who were recently announced as members of Mike McEwen’s new foursome.
